Pip & Pooch
20 January 2021
A heartwarming tale of friendship, family and flying dogs!
When a dog arrives out of nowhere on her birthday, Pip isn’t sure how to react. But the wisecracking Pooch wins her over with common sense that could only have come from stretches at the local pound. But when Snooty, leader of a girl gang, sees a photo of Pooch flying, Pip must use all of her creativity, and Pooch’s street wisdom, to survive.
Performed on a magnetic set where every surface is like a fridge door, Terrapin’s new production combines clowning, puppetry and live drawing to tell a story of family, friendship and flying. Pip & Pooch reveals the magical bond of a child and their pet, and shows how to win over your foes using your imagination.
“With the uplifting energy of performers Bryony Geeves (Pip) and Matt Wilson (Pooch) the children in the audience were enthralled and laughing right from the start of this show, which is filled with much clever silliness, heartfelt real-life reflections and crazy puppets.”

“Children at my performance were clearly into this and I’m sure that will be the case as the show tours widely.”
