SUPPORTING TERRAPIN TO BRING ARTS EXPERIENCES TO ALL TASMANIANS
We create new original works of contemporary puppetry for children, families and intergenerational audiences. We make work that is accessible to all Tasmanians: in schools, theatres, festivals and public spaces.
In 2022, we are expanding our work to include our community’s elders.
Forever Young: Exploring Puppetry in Aged Care Settings is a unique program investigating how puppetry performance and interaction can create meaningful experiences for people in aged care. The sector and community support for this project has been overwhelming.
This end of financial year, we aim to raise $5,000 to support the Forever Young pilot program in November 2022. This will fund us to visit 4 Tasmanian aged care facilities, providing a full day of performance, one-on-one interaction and staff support. Your donation will contribute directly to this pilot.
We’re grateful to our donors for their continued support in bringing Terrapin works to life.
