Originally from Townsville, Mads trained with TheatreiNQ across multiple technical disciplines, finding their passion for set and props construction. Mads completed a BFA in Design and Production (2020), majoring in Set and Props (Technical) at VCA. Here they began to develop skills in sculpting, molding and casting and upon completing their degree, worked with Aludean Sculpture as Leading Hand on a large-scale public art sculpture. This led to further employment with the bronze sculpture studio, Meridian Sculpture. Most recently Mads worked as a Props Technician for An American in Paris (2022) and Touring Props/ASM for Hairspray (2022-2023).
