Frank Newman, Artistic Director
Frank Newman is a director, performer and community development worker. He has worked on a range of projects such as producing and directing theatre shows, youth festivals and has establishing new theatre companies. He has directed, produced, performed and trained in theatre for over 10 years and was awarded a Bachelor of Creative Arts from Wollongong University. In 2006 he was assistant-director of the critically acclaimed Honour Bound, presented at the Sydney Opera House. Most recently he was the Co-Artistic Director of Newtown Theatre, Artistic Director of Ashfield Youth Theatre and tutor at the University of Western Sydney. Frank was appointed in 2007.

Kevin O’Loghlin, General Manager
Kevin has worked in performing arts administration for over 20 years, and has been at Terrapin since January 2006. After involvement in community theatre in Canberra in the early 1980’s while working in a range of human resources, payroll and finance positions, Kevin travelled to England where he scored a life-changing position in operations of a major regional theatre. On return to Australia he worked in customer services with Melbourne Theatre Company for six years, before joining a theatre venue in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. After a stint managing the West Gippsland Arts Centre, he returned to suburban Melbourne where he was responsible for the general management of the Whitehorse Centre in Nunawading and subsequently the Karralyka Centre in Ringwood East. At each venue Kevin was responsible for the successful establishment of the programming, marketing and presentation of annual seasons of professional touring theatre.

Sarah Briggs, Administration Assistant
Sarah has over 25 years experience in a range of administrative positions, mostly in not-for-profit organisations. She was a founding member of the Tasmanian A Cappella Association, overseeing the administrative and financial aspects of their first five Festivals.
